Note : An open draw was carried out at 10.30pm at Dewan P8 on 5 July 2011. Mas'od and Redzuan had automatically considered as Div 1 player for the purpose of draw. Each pair shall have 1 player from Div 1 and Div 2 respectively. Top 5 Div 1 and Div 2 being saperated in the process!!!

KLO Series : Grand Finale

The final round of KLO Double Championship a.k.a Grand Finale was held on 25 June 2011. KPPj8 was represented by our beloved President Dr Hisham and Hamir and our champion Zulkarnain and Hisham.

Yet, the Grand Finale is the most challenging series as all semi finalists form 4 previous series have to compete each other for the so call the champion of champion.

Zulkarnain and Hisham started the game brilliantly by winning their first 2 matches, but in the 3rd match they eventually lost to their opponent 2-3 although at one point in the deciding set they were in the 9-5 but lost 9-11. At last, 3 pairs from the group had registered 2 wins and 1 lost. The group winner and runner-up have to be decided by the calculation of sets and points. 

Ping Pong always be Ping Pong...Zulkarnain and Hisham had being shown the exit door as they lost by the smallest margin in any tournament...i.e they lost to the runner-up by 1 point....repeat again...by 1 point!!!!
