23 years old Zhang Jike won Men's single and Double title at the German Open 2011.
In Men's single event, he beat host nation's and World No1 Timo Boll in straight set 11-9, 11-5, 11-6 and 11-5 to complete his revenge as he lost (2-4) to same player a week before at UAE Open. It was also his 2nd ITTF Pro Tour career.
In Men's Double event final, he partnered Hao Shuai and beat compatriot Ma Lin & Wang Hao 4-1 (11-5, 13-11, 12-14, 11-4 and 12-10) to continue his dominance in double events as he also claimed gold medal with Wang Hao at Slovenia Open, with Xu Xin at England Open and with Ma Lin at UAE Open.
