Liga Bergu KLO STA Siri 3 - Report

HISHAM & ZUL : OUR CHAMPION

We met at P8 on Saturday 5.00pm and depart to KLO about 5.40pm, reached there almost 6.00pm.

The draw was made and all of us being separated into 8 different groups. Games started right after maghrib prayer.

After group stage completed, 4 of our doubles ie Hisham & Zul, Megat & Hamir, Hazrizad & Ezad and Fazwan & Razi came out as group winner while Azam & Zunnur and Hakimi & Tengku as runners up...but for Aidi & Marzuki and Ishak & Noor Amin, their lost all their games in group stage.

It was so unfortunate that in 2nd round Knock out stage Megat & Hamir are scheduled to play against Azam & Zunnur for a Quater Final place at stake. It was an intense game which Megat & Hamir took the 1st set. In 2nd set, Azam & zunnur improved their game and claimed it with 14-12. 3rd set also very closed from point to point but Azam & Zunnur eventually came out as winner with score 12-10. In the 4th set, Azam & Zunnur never look back and lead from the beginning to finish off the game with 11-7 and set the mouthwatering quarter final with favorite pair Ejok and Ezren of KLO. 

Hisham & Zul starting to reach their pick performance by 3-0 win in 2nd round match and same goes to Hazrizad & Ezad while Fazwan & Razi and Hakimi & Tengku lost their 2nd round matches in the bottom part of the draw. 

In quarter final matches, the only obstacle need to be passed for a dream Grand Final ticket, Hisham and Zul did fantastic well to clock 3-0 win against their opponent thus qualified for Grand Final. Azam & Zunnur are facing most proven partner in novis double, Ejok & Ezren. In the 1st two sets, Azam & Zunnur played superbly to take lead 2-0, but Ejok & Ezren as usual are not an easy pray and established their game to level the score 2-2. In the final set, Ejok & Ezren stamp their authority to win 11-7 and qualified for Grand Final and also a semi final match vs Hisham & Zul. Hazrizad & Ezad have the opportunity to qualify for semi final but lost to their pimple's opponent as they have no idea how to play better against long pips.

In semi final match, Hisham and Zul play the game of their life to evaporate any chances of Ejok & Ezren to match them. I personally never see Zul, especially play such a very aggressive game to attack every ball came to him and Hisham with his so called 'super serve' to register an impressive win 3-0 and Ejok & Ezren are simply no match to the quality of game shown by Hisham & Zul. Their game momentum is continuing up to final match against another KLO's pair. Final match is also the same like semi final except Hisham & Zul won it with the score of 3-1

Last but not least....CONGRATULATION FOR EN HISHAM & EN ZULKARNAIN for playing such a good tournament and carry the flag of KPPj8
